Director of The Houston Mayor’s Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security George Buenik and Law Enforcement Liaison to the Houston Mayor’s Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security Jack Hanagriff, recently published an article with the Department of Justice’s Community Oriented Policing Services, an organization dedicated to increasing the relationships between police agencies and communities they serve. The article provides an overview of the response efforts public safety organizations within the City of Houston have undertaken with regard to COVID-19. These response efforts have included utilization of Haystax for situational awareness, including asset cataloging, assessments, monitoring of supply chain status, and tracking pandemic-related community impacts.
