System update 2.3.1

System update 2.3.1

A new system update was just released for Haystax, known locally as Cal COP. A backend update was done to threat streams making it simpler to integrate custom feeds. This means we can help pull in your automated feeds, such as calls for service or license plate reader data, easier and get you up and running quicker.

The other key change included in this update is an improvement to the photo and document widget on the asset page. Items will now be listed alphabetically, instead of in the order they were added. This ordering uses the caption or the file name when no caption is present. Additionally, a new edit button lets users edit the caption from the widget and mark the image as the primary asset image. The primary image will now have a solid green border.

Please reach out to your Haystax representative should you have any questions about this update.
