For the fifth year in a row, Cal COP was used during the switch-on ceremony at the Riverside Festival of Lights yesterday. Cal COP was deployed in the command post to provide situational awareness, including map layers showing locations of all event components. The system was also used to provide information on nearby critical infrastructure, should it have been needed during an incident. The event went smoothly and was attended by over 90,000 people.
