Over the weekend of April 7-9, the Long Beach Police Department successfully deployed Cal COP and the Mobile Indicator application in support of the 43rd Annual Toyota Grand Prix. The Haystax team uploaded 36 events to Cal COP in advance of the event, and LBPD personnel verified asset and assessment data (complete for previous years’ usage). LBPD Mobile Indicator users in the field submitted over 400 reports from the field, documenting crowd size and flow, street closures, and activities of concern.
