Haystax was updated today to include several new features.
- Attached files improvements: Prior to this release, all attached photos and documents existed on the source objects themselves (assets, events, etc.). With this release, all attached files have been moved to use the linked objects structure introduced earlier this year. This allows attached files to have individual security settings different from the source objects. In future releases, this will also enable documents to be tagged and shared between multiple objects (assets, events, etc.).
- Photos/documents widget: A feature was added to the photo and documents display widget to enable users to filter by type (image, document). This will help users filter to quickly see PDF documents without images, or vice versa.
- Tenant administration of system notifications: Tenant administrators may now add their own notifications for their tenant users to see when using the system (through the bell icon in the top navigation bar). A message, start date, and end date may be specified. More fine-grained permissions may be specified so it is shown to only certain data groups, or the default is tenant-wide visibility. An additional opEon may send an email to all users with the notification.
- Excel export in Manage Access list: The Manage Access list page now has an export to Excel option. The button is on the upper-right of the screen.
