Today, a new Map layer was added.
The new Map layer, California Electric Transmission Lines, is available to all users. It can be located within the external layers. The layer was sourced from the California Energy Commission. It was prepared to allow users to have visibility of the electrical lines within the state. Once the layer is in use, it will show the Electric Transmission lines and information about each one when clicked.
To utilize the layer, navigate to the Map app and utilize the “External” filter button which is second from the right at the top. When the menu for the external filters opens, choose “California Electric Transmission Lines ” and click save.
