Today, the Mobile Haystax app was updated to version 2.3.0. This release implemented three changes and several bug fixes.
The map on Mobile Haystax was refactored to match the look and functionality of the recently updated map within the browser version of the system. This includes adding color-coded map pin markers, icons representing item types (assets, assessments, etc), slide-out boxes with item descriptions and a button for the item’s details, and additional filters and base map layer configurations.
Offline capabilities for the mobile app were enhanced to include field reporting. Users will recall that this was a component of the previous version of the Haystax mobile app prior to the 2.0.0 upgrade. To enable a quicker release of the overhauled mobile app, this portion of the offline feature was delayed until this 2.3.0 release. Users will once again be able to create Field Reports when offline in the mobile app and have them automatically upload once reconnected. The reports will carry the timestamp and location from which the report was made while in offline mode.
The final change instituted with version 2.3.0 is the improvement of attachment handling, including video playback. Users should notice a more seamless attachment viewing experience.
