Los Angeles School Police Department and Cal COP

The Los Angeles School Police Department (LASPD) has started conducting school site evaluations (SSEs) within the Cal COP environment, and its work was recently chronicled in an article in the LA School Report and other publications. LASPD is using iPads equipped with the School Safety configuration of the Mobile Assessor to conduct SSEs on a portion of the Los Angeles Unified School District’s 1,200 campuses. LASPD is the largest school police force in the country.
