Haystax/Cal COP Updated to Version 3.15.0

Haystax/Cal COP Updated to Version 3.15.0

Today, Haystax was updated to version 3.15.0. This update enhanced our map display, updated the Excel-based export process, made several backend improvements to increase usability, and continued to make updates to enable more robust system notifications.

The map was updated to shift the display order of map layers and data such as assets and incidents. Previously, these were layered on in the order selected. Now, the Haystax data layers (assets, assessments, incidents, etc) will always appear as the topmost layer enabling them to be easier to access.

Excel-based export are available for assets, incidents, field reports, and events. These files now contain a column containing the unique object ID. This will enable easier updates of information utilizing the spreadsheets. With the object IDs listed, users can now make needed updates to the exported spreadsheet and easily upload back to the system to overwrite the prior data. Note that the assessments list may also be exported in Excel but cannot be updated this way, so the object ID was not included in that report.

Two backend improvements were also included in the 3.15.0 release. The first was an improvement to the Mobile App API. The update introduced support to override server generated created date/time with the actual date/time the item was created. This means that now when users create an object in the mobile app when it is in offline mode and then reconnect the app, the object will retain the date/time of creation rather than shift to the date/time of upload (i.e. reconnection to the system). The other backend improvement included in the release was an update to how the site uses browser caching to enable faster access.
