Cal COP used during Long Beach Grand Prix

Once again, Long Beach Police Department used the Cal COP system during the Long Beach Grand Prix. Held from April 13 – 15 this year, the Grand Prix brought more than 185,000 people to downtown Long Beach. Officers in the field used the Mobile Indicator application to submit reports into Cal COP. Over the course of the 3-day event, over 230 indicator reports were sent in from the field, sharing information on crowd size, traffic, and various security concerns. This is the fourth year Cal COP has been used at this event.
