Cal COP use at San Francisco Pride

This past weekend was San Francisco Pride. Terrorism Liaison Officers with the Northern California Regional Intelligence Center (NCRIC) were patrolling throughout San Francisco and using Haystax’ Mobile Indicator application, also known as the NCRIC Field Reporter. With the mobile app, officers were sharing information on crowd size, unattended items, disorderly conduct, and other public safety concerns back to theSan Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Department Operations Center (DOC). NCRIC and SFPD staff in the DOC used the Cal COP Feed Monitor and Watchboard to monitor the almost 100 reports submitted through the NCRIC Field Reporter, as well as monitor the 311 and Fire/Medical calls for service. San Francisco Department of Emergency Management (SFDEM) staff at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) also monitored the reports and feeds through the Feed Monitor and Watchboard.
