Today, Haystax Mobile was updated to version 2.6. The new version includes multiple enhancements.
Notifications: Haystax notifications were previously integrated with the browser version of the site. Version 2.6 makes notifications also available in the mobile app. Notifications are found under the main menu. Users will now also see an icon indicating they have a new notification.
Assessment Creation: The most common workflow for users conducting assessments using the mobile app includes creation and population of initial data from a computer before switching to a mobile device for conducting an on-site assessment. For the users who may want to start an assessment on the mobile app, they now have that option.
Two-Factor Authentication: Mobile Version 2.6 coincided with Haystax 3.18.0, which added support for two-factor authentication. When a tenant opts to use two-factor authentication for all users in its site, those users will see the same two-factor authentication requirement in the mobile app.
Permissions Management: When adding or editing many objects in Haystax, users have the ability to alter who can see that object via the permissions field. For convenience, the mobile app now has a “clear all permissions” button for the permissions fields.
Mobile Version 2.6 also included some stylistic enhancements to ensure consistency of appearance and ease-of-use throughout the app, as well as the following bug fixes.

- Fixed – Team Name and Code dropdown options overlap on Team Member configuration screen
- Fixed – Searches using special characters not returning expected results
- Fixed – Issue with filtering cached assets by date
- Fixed – Some items allow saving when the Permissions field is empty
