Today, Haystax was updated to version 3.9.0. This update added several key upgrades, as well as some minor bug fixes.
The most significant part of the Haystax 3.9.0 release was the upgrade to the new map. The redesign includes:
- On map buttons to enable/disable layers
- Filters for individual Haystax layers
- New icons
- External Layers management, featuring “layer test” before publishing
- Redesigned “waterfall”
- Live Feed for Incidents, Field Reports and Data Streams
- Full screen view with and without Live Feed – New map base layers, including Live Traffic density
- Zoom, Pan and Tilt map controls
- Tenant “Home location” button
- “Spiderfy” effect on clustered map markers
Update 3.9.0 also modified the Notifications page, converting it to match the new design and support automatic hyperlinks to URLs in the text.
Finally, this update modified the assessments app so when content is saved (including via auto-save), the user’s position on the page is retained.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed – Unable to create New Tag when creating new item from list page.
- Fixed – Help App: text on the Notifications List page is overflowing.
- Fixed – Assessment Excel Export Error: All strings must be XML compatible.
- Fixed – A blank page is displayed when navigating to the Notification link from an email.
- Fixed – Unable to create a New Tag from the Action dropdown on the Asset lists page.
Between this major update and the 3.8.0 update, two smaller releases were also done.
The October 8th 3.8.1 release contained the following bug fixes:
- Fixed – Manage Access: Missing info text when Excel export exceeds 1000 entries.
- Fixed – Manage Access: Text search does not factor in Full Name data
- Fixed – Users receiving 403 http Error while trying to access Assessments List page
- Fixed – Filtering by Assessment Template’s custom filters (when Type is selected) does not provide correct results.
Update 3.8.2 on October 18th contained the following bug fixes:
- Fixed – Issues with adding attachments to Assets with certain Data Groups.
- Fixed – Unable to filter or search through data configured as custom columns.
